Founder of ALGM: WendyAnn Mark
My name is Wendy Ann Mark born in the beautiful island of Grenada WI, in the parish of St Patrick. I am the 10th of 12 children.
My mum Clarissa Charles I am married to Ryan Mark with 2 children, Angelle 22and Nicole 16yrs old.
I have faced many challenges as a child and an adult.
Nevertheless, I take this opportunity to focus on one such challenge which happened while in the United States.
I got pregnant in 2014, bearing twin. Unfortunately the fetus died which resulted in a medical investigation which also lead to a DNC to remove the dead fetus from my body. This was a serious challenge. In the process of investigating the death of the fetus, a discovery was made that I had a liver that was bigger than usual. The Dr attending to me happened to be a pastor. He gave me a new testament and told me to read it while the investigation was ongoing. The Dr Pointed out specific scriptures which I read daily as instructed.
In the process, I was told by the Dr to ask my mother about my past condition as a child and it is then I learnt from her that I was hospitalized at the age of 2 and in a coma for 2 months. This information was relayed to the Dr and in bringing closure to my condition. As I continue reading the scripture as instructed by the Dr, I found that my liver size reduced from 22 to 12 which is normal. A swollen liver can result in death. This is one of the main reasons I drew closer to God. I had my testimony, my liver issue really brought out the miracle and transformation God has done in my life. I then formed a group and shared my testimony. Most the people the is in the organization they are people i delivered, We went from house to house sharing the word of God and delivering people. This is how I started, and my spiritual life began.
I spread the word of Forgiveness and faith. Our vision and mission also reflects the same. We now have a youth group, a prayer line and a outreach every 1st and 3rd Saturday where we feed, cloth, counsel and minister to individuals on Eastern Parkway Crown heights and East Flatbush on Nostrand Avenue. Touching lives and bringing hope to persons. I am now in college studying with International school of Ministries which in This step is a means to enhance myself so I can bring more hope to people. My mentor is Pastor John Blackman and his wife. My husband and children is also very supportive.
I continue to bring hope and healing to people in the community. I keep studying the word and I am eager to continue knowing more about God, the cross and the love of God.
